disobey: DO THIS. Our collective efforts leading up to Bank Transfer Day resulted in over 650,000 people transferring over $8 billion dollars from corporate banks to independent credit unions. (And it was tremendously well-covered in the mainstream media, too - oh wait.) Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving - is traditionally one of the largest shopping days of the year. Resist being treated as just another income stream for the major corporations. Buy in cash. Buy local. Boycott corporate chain businesses. I can do that.  OMG Boycott the mall! I have to work. It’s going to be awful. Come. Take parking spots from people.
